PhD Position in Economics at University of Cologne, Germany

The Macro-, Labor- and Public Economics Group at the University of Cologne is seeking to fill several PhD-Student Teaching Assistant positions (3/4 TVL-13). Participation in the Doctoral Program at the University of Cologne is expected and there will be close supervision of successful candidates’ dissertation work by members of the group (Prof. Dr. Martin Barbie, Prof. Dr. Peter Funk, Prof. David Jaeger, Ph.D, Prof. Dr. Alexander Ludwig.

Successful candidates hold a University degree (Master/Diplom) with an exceptional grade point average and have excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Profound knowledge in one of the aforementioned fields, a strong background in Economic Theory, Econometrics, or Mathematical Economics are advantageous, but not necessary.
