The research group Management Informatics of the Faculty of Business and Economics of the K.U.Leuven (Belgium) has two vacancies for a full-time researcher. The researcher should have an academic degree in one of the following disciplines: Applied Economic Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics and/or Statistics. Building upon earlier research, the researcher will be working in the fields of intelligent systems, data mining, and management informatics. It is expected that the researcher starts a Phd. This will typically include a thorough literature study, collaboration with on-going research, and the development and validation of new research methodologies. Occasionally, the researcher will also be involved in educational support activities, such as: supervision of exams; supervision of master dissertations, and student tutoring.
